Allie is a mission- and solutions-oriented professional with dynamic experience in nonprofit leadership. A former special education teacher and school leader in Washington DC and Chicago, she then served as the founding Director of Operations & Finance for Washington state's first homegrown elementary charter network. She has worked exclusively with “start-up” schools and growing nonprofits that require high levels of strategic planning and systems building. Allie has experience building and executing on ethical fundraising plans for nonprofits, including competitive grant writing. Thus far in FY23, she has helped secure $2.2M in private funding and $3.8M in public funding. She holds a BA in Psychology & Environmental Policy from Northwestern University and a M.Ed in K-12 Special Education from George Mason University, as well as a Certificate of Nonprofit Management from Northwestern's Kellogg School of Management.
